What's New at GRWT?

It's been a hot second since our last blog post, but we're still here. Still plugging away! Some changes of note:

  1. We're now a program of the Lakeshore Literary Foundation. The LLF is a 501c3 public charity. Our partnership with LLF means we enjoy all the benefits of a non-profit (including an ability to accept donations!) and the stability that comes with a solid ecosystem of like-minded programs.
  2. Andrew Ronzino now leads the Tribe as a whole. Jason is still around, though, in the OG Tribe group.
  3. Our writers have seen a lot of progress on their works. Garrett finished a novel and has landed an agent. Allison is in the last phases of a complete rewrite of her novel. Andrew is finishing his passion project. Tiffany published a book, and others have published short stories in various anthologies.
  4. Our virtual group is on hiatus. Goals having met, folks have moved "up and out." We are now re-constituting that group with new folks who prefer to avoid in-person meetings.
  5. We've updated the website, including our application process.
  6. We're planning an all-Tribe writing retreat for late 2024 or early 2025. Stay tuned for details!

Our blog might have been quiet, but that's because we've been reserving ALL THE WORDS for our manuscripts.
